We toured Vienna and then we got on the choochoo train to the lookout point.
Vienne became a Roman colony in 47 BC under Julius Caesar. It had 30,000 inhabitants then and it has the same amount now.
The city has a significant Roman history highlighted by its marvellously preserved remains.
Sights include a 1st century Roman temple of Augustus and Livia, the ruins of a Roman theatre and two medieval churches.
Today, the town is a regional commercial and industrial center specializing in the food industry. Tourism is also a major part of the town's economy.
We are off to Lyon which is France's third largest city after Paris and Marseille.
