The Island of Capri

The Island of Capri is so beautiful. After arriving by ferry we hired a private boat to view the dramatic coast line and small grotto's carved into the limestone. The colour of the water is so blue, almost florescent. Next we took a chair lift up to the top of the island. From the top you can see for miles and on this clear day we could see Naples and Mount Vesuvius, the bay of Naples and the towns of Sorrento, Amalfi and Capri. A quick lunch stop then off to tour the charming towns of Ana Capri and Capri. Many famous people visit and stay on this island and there are designer shops lining the narrow winding streets.
