Cooking class in Sorrento






Into the kitchen today   What a treat.  Carmella, our translator greeted us at the gate with aprons in hand.  The Sorrento Cooking school is a marvelous facility with a large bright roomy kitchen and plenty of work space for everyone. Our chef is a lovely young Italian woman who seems to have excellent cooking skills and a wonderful disposition.  Our menu is home made pizza, tomato sauce with fresh basel, ravioli, sea bass on a bed of lemoned potatoes and delicous Tiramsu for dessert.  The gals can't believe they actually made pizza dough and ravioli from scratch.  Such fun!  We had flour on our clothes and dough stuck to our fingers.  I think everyone enjoyed the hands on experience. After preparing the dinner with our own loving hands, we had the pleasure of eating the fabulous meal.  A little taste of Proseco while cooking and wonderful wines of the region with our dinner.  I expect our loved ones will enjoy the meal we all plan to make when we return.
